Shelter House is currently seeking 2 part-time (20-25 hours/week) Shelter Coordinators to help run the shelter during the evening and overnight hours. Shelter Coordinators are critical to our mission of moving people beyond homelessness, as they run our Wait List process and help orient new residents. Coordinators also monitor the shelter during quiet hours to ensure the safety of the residents. A successful coordinator should be able to manage multiple responsibilities, have a welcoming personality, and be able to handle stressful situations. Shelter Coordinators would be expected to work one of two potential shift times: 5PM-10:30PM or 10PM-8:15AM. If you are interested in applying to be a Shelter Coordinator, please e-mail Faith Walker, Shelter House Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org!
