Shelter Manager

Reports to: Emergency Services Director

The Shelter Manager will supervise and train a team of staff to deliver consistent and high-quality emergency shelter services in accordance with the Shelter House mission, vision, and values. The Shelter Manager will manage client records, files, and reports to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and security of files. The Shelter Manager is responsible to oversee and maintain the daily operations of emergency shelter facilities while working within the team of managers to ensure all emergency and housing programs are working together to achieve high level outcomes.

Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is a full-time position with health, dental, and retirement benefits. Housing Case Manager

Reports to: Housing Stabilization Manager

The Housing Case Manager will work with a Case Management team to serve individuals experiencing homelessness primarily though Shelter House and drop-in clients from the community. This position is responsible for assisting clients in finding and maintaining stable housing as they move beyond homelessness.

Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is a full-time position with health, dental, and retirement benefits. Fresh Starts Crew Supervisor

Reports to: Mental Health Recovery Manager

Shelter House seeks a part-time weekend Fresh Starts Crew Supervisor. The Supervisor will manage a Fresh Starts janitorial contract site. The Fresh Starts program is a supported employment program for adults with chronic mental illness. The Crew Supervisor will supervise both Fresh Starts janitorial staff and temporary janitorial employees through the Shelter House.

Fresh Starts Job Coach

Reports to: Mental Health Recovery Manager

The Fresh Starts Job Coach is a full time evening position that oversees the operations of the Fresh Starts Janitorial team and provides training and behavioral health support to clients working directly on the Fresh Starts crew. Fresh Starts is a professional cleaning and janitorial service that offers full-service cleaning through a professionally trained, fully supervised janitorial cleaning crew that employs individuals working to rebuild their lives and are participating in our permanent supportive housing program. The Job Coach position is responsible for ensuring the quality of work done on contracted sites while providing direct training and behavioral health support to the clients working on the cleaning crew.

Shelter Coordinator

Reports to: Shelter Manager

Shelter Coordinators are responsible for direct client support with individuals who are experiencing homelessness in an emergency shelter setting. The Shelter Coordinator team will be responsible for maintaining and regulating the facility as well as ensuring a safe and healthy environment. Evening and overnight hours are available.

Cross Park Place Coordinator

Reports To: Cross Park Place Manager

Positions available are part-time and full-time. Overnight availability is highly desired.

Coordinators are responsible for direct client support with the tenants of Cross Park Place, a permanent supportive housing program. The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and regulating the facility as well as ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
