End Homelessness One Pedal Stroke at a Time

Brake the Cycle riders combine their support to end homelessness with the joy of cycling. Be a catalyst for change and join us for a 25-mile fun ride benefiting Shelter House on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area. Check-in opens at 9:00am. Kickstands up at 10:15am. The route includes optional stops at your favorite watering holes and family-friendly locations, including Mosley’s North Liberty and Big Grove Brewery & Taproom – Iowa City, to relax and grab a drink & a bite to eat. Register as a cyclist or supporter and break the cycle of homelessness one pedal stroke at a time!

$25 – Early Bird registration until May 22, 2019
$15 – Child registration (12 & under)
$35 – Pre-registration
$50 – Day of Ride registration

We encourage riders and supporters to shift their participation into high-gear and become fundraising champions to support Shelter House’s emergency, stabilization, and long-term solution programs to help people get back on their feet and move beyond homelessness. Together, we will build a healthier & stronger community.

Mission champions who fundraise or donate the following to support Shelter House will receive:
$100 – Event t-shirt
$250 – Water bottle & koozie
$500 – Big Grove food & drink tickets, entered in Grand Prize raffle
